NexCruise (2022) quick install instructions


Connecting 

To install your NexCruise, follow these steps. Make sure the car is turned off and handbrake is engaged before your proceed.

 

1) Disconnect the Accelerator pedal from the VCU connector.

 

2) Connect the NexCruise pedal cable labelled "TO A-PEDAL" to Accelerator pedal.

 

3) Connect the NexCruise VCU cable, labelled "TO VCU" to VCU port.

 

4) Connect the NexCruise OBD cable to car's OBD port.

 

5) Connect the LED cable to LED port.

 

6) Insert the supplied coin-cell battery into the dial. The "+" of the battery should be facing you when inserting.

 

 Running 

1) With handbrake engaged and the car still off, press the brake pedal. Verify that the white "State" LED on NexCruise light bar turns on. It will turn off again after some time.

 

2) Press the start/stop button the car, to start it in ACC mode. Verify that no warning symbol appears on the car's dashboard, and the white "State" LED on NexCruise light bar turns on again.

 

3) Turn on the car, and make sure you can drive normally.

 

4) Test the cruising functionality, and other features, and ensure it is working normally.
