🚗 NexCruise Installation Instructions

🔌 Step-by-Step Cable Connections

Remove the Original Pedal Cable

  1. Locate the existing cable connected to the car's accelerator pedal.
  1. Press the locking tab on the connector and gently remove it.
Connect NexCruise to the Pedal
  1. Take the NexCruise cable labeled “TO ACC-PEDAL”.
  1. Plug it into the accelerator pedal where the original cable was removed.

Connect NexCruise to the VCU

  1. Locate the VCU port where the pedal cable was originally connected.
  1. Plug in the NexCruise cable labeled “TO VCU PORT” to this port.

Connect the Pedal Cable to NexCruise

  1. Take the cable originally attached to the car’s pedal.
  1. Connect it to NC-PORT A on the NexCruise unit.

Connect the VCU Cable to NexCruise

  1. Plug the NexCruise cable labeled “NC-PORT C” into NC-PORT C on the NexCruise unit.

Connect the State Receiver

  1. Insert the state receiver (provided with NexCruise) into NC-PORT B on the unit.


Leave NC-PORT D Unused

  1. NC-PORT D is reserved for brake sensor functionality (only needed in some vehicles).
  2. Leave it empty unless specifically instructed otherwise.

Connect the OBD Cable


  1. Plug one end of the OBD cable into the NC-OBD PORT on the NexCruise unit.
  2. Connect the other end to the car’s OBD port.

Once the OBD connection is made:

  1. The NexCruise unit will power on.
  2. The 12V light will illuminate.
  3. Turn the car to ACC mode (accessory mode, do not start the engine).
  4. The Sys light on the NexCruise unit will turn on.
  5. The State LED And Mode LED  on the LED bar will also light up.

 Installation Checklist

  1. The bypass switch is easily accessible.
  2. No cables are bent sharply.
  3. Cable ties are used properly, without straining wires near connectors.
