4. How to calibrate dial

🔰 Introduction to Dial Calibration

Dial Calibration is an essential step to ensure that your NexCruise system accurately recognizes and responds to inputs from the physical control dial.
This process helps map and synchronize each function—such as Cruise, Eco Mode, or City Mode—with the app, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.

🔄Dial Calibration Process

📲Launch and Connect Car.Os App

  1. Open the Car.Os app on your smartphone.
  2. Login in the Car.os app.
This tutorial assumes that you have already registered your device. If not, follow this <Register your NexCruise

🚗Power the Vehicle in ACC Mode

  1. Turn the car to ACCESSORY mode (don’t start the engine).
  2. Ensure the STATE LED on the NexCruise light bar is glowing.

🔌Check Device Connection

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone.
  2. Open the Car.Os app → Home Screen.
  3. The status should show: ✅ “Connected”.
  4. Go to the “Configure” tab in the app.
      


🔧 Start Dial Calibration

📲Press a Button in the App

  1. Tap any button in the app (e.g., Cruise, City Mode, etc.
  2. The LED Strip will start blinking.


🎛️Press the Same Button on the Physical Dial

  1. When you press the same button on the actual dial,the blinking in the LED Strip will stop.
  2. This means the button is now calibrated.

Repeat for All Buttons

  1.  Do this for each button:
    Cruise, Speed Limit, City Mode, Eco Mode, Sports Mode, Clockwise, AntiClockwise.
