4. How to do A-pedal calibration

What is A-pedal calibration?

In an ideal world, two cars with same brand and same model must be same, but in real world, they are different.
Specifically, the signal that the A-pedal gives in two different cars is different.
This procedure personalizes your NexCruise for your specific car, so that the throttle response that you expect is crisp and immediate.

A-pedal calibration procedure

During the entire procedure:
a) Never press the A-pedal.
b) Don't turn on the engine.
c) Don't turn on AC, headlights or any other load on engine.

Step 1: Turn on the car in Acc mode. Don't crank the engine.

Step 2: Start calibration by long pressing the Sports mode button when system is in INIT state (STATE LED = Cyan)
Upon staring the calibration, the State LED will change to green.

Step 3: Long press the centre (cruise) button to commit calibration. The state LED should change back to CYAN.

Step 4: Turn off the car, wait for the NexCruise to turn off (light bar should turn off).

The pedal calibration is complete.
